MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Barbara D. Witmer, of Maywood, died Friday, Nov. 25. She was 84.
She was born in Teaneck, graduated from Hasbrouck Heights High School and lived in north Jersey most of her life (Hasbouck Heights, Rochelle Park and Maywood). Before retiring in 1988, she was a main frame computer operator for Mobil Chemical in Paramus.
She was predeceased by her parents, Argo and Elsie (Feit) Cesareo; and sister, Dione Donegan.
Surviving are her husband, Jack E.; daughter, Valerie (Sasso) Murphy; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; daughter, Barbara L. (Sasso) Beiswanger; three step-children, Jack M. Witmer, Sherry Horner and Wendy Onda; four step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and brother, Argo Cesareo II.
Visiting will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m Monday at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood. Viewing and funeral service will be in Lancaster, Pa. at Groffs Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted in New Jersey at a later date.
